The house stands ajoining the old quarries of Fulwell most people get this house mixed up with another what stood close by Carly Hill House and Hill house was built around and extended for a nursing home ,it went bankrupt and now is being converted into luxury flats, as I look up I am looking at this building full on , it has a wonderful view to the sea and Sunderlands new football stadium which was built on the site of Monkwearmouth Pit , the house so I heard was built for the owner of the pit and he was able to gaze down on his new venture ,I will look for for map no. if you can send me your address I can send you off a photograph today I have two taken of granddaughters standing in the foreground PAT
