This is what I've been able to piece together about Phillip Palmer.
I believe he was a seargent in the first world war for the english army. He along with Archibrooke ‎(any my grandfather)‎ were avid sportmens, the sport of choice for them was football ‎(soccer)‎ and running. I believe he was on the Bath Football team in Great Britain. At some point he did come over to Canada and took up a homestead but left shortly after abandoning the homestead ‎(which Archibrooke later took over)‎and returning to England. I do not know to whom he was married, or even if he did marry.
