- I think RJ's father's name was Samuel ‎(or mayble Joseph)‎ I don't know about Madras. He was born in Hong Kong and moved to Calcutta. My grandparents were latterly living in Darjeeling, where my parents went to school ‎(before they met)‎. I met my grandparetns once when they came to England. Grandfather had a cleft palate attributed to his mother having fallen from a horse while she was pregnant.
